Four guest artists, one composer in residence, scientists and 15 young talents from across Europe will explore the powerful theme of “Resistance and Freedom”, through music and interdisciplinary dialogue. Guest artists will lead young talents in performing works by composers who were guided by ideals of resistance and freedom: Dmitri Shostakovich, George Enescu, Ödön Pártos, Alfred Schnittke, Valentîn Sîlvestrov, Erwin Schulhoff, Sándor Veress, César Viana and Mieczysław Weinberg.
The program will include 5 chamber music concerts, 3 scientific lectures and working sessions with the composer in residence. Students from all European countries can apply at the following link https://www.lumieresdeurope.eu/apply/ until May 31st.
