Andrei Gologan, a pianist of remarkable refinement and interpretive depth, has carved a distinctive place for himself on the international scene, captivating listeners with his singular sonic artistry. The international press has lauded Andrei as a "poet of the piano" (Süddeutsche Zeitung), also noting his "brilliant technique" (General-Anzeiger Bonn).

Andrei collaborates as a soloist with orchestras such as Camerata Salzburg, KALA Kammerphilharmonie Landshut, the Kyiv Philharmonic Orchestra, and the „Sándor Végh” Chamber Orchestra. He also performs concerts with the most important orchestras in Romania: the „George Enescu” Philharmonic and the Transylvania State Philharmonic.

Remarking himself during his studies at the Mozarteum University Salzburg, Andrei was invited by the legendary pianist Sir András Schiff to give a series of debut recitals within the Building Bridges program in prestigious halls such as the Konzerthaus Berlin, deSingel in Antwerp, and the Beethovenhaus in Bonn. Following the enthusiastic critical reception of his performances, Andrei received invitations to numerous prestigious festivals, such as the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, Heidelberger Frühling, the Mozartwoche Salzburg, and the „George Enescu” International Festival in Bucharest.

His distinguished artistic career is further highlighted by performances at London's Wigmore Hall, Munich's Herkulessaal, and the „Pierre Boulez” Saal in Berlin, the latter at the invitation of Maestro Daniel Barenboim. Andrei Gologan is also passionate about the world of chamber music, performing concerts at major chamber music festivals such as Lockenhaus, Verbier, and the Schwetzinger SWR Festspiele. Andrei Gologan's passion for chamber music is also evident in his role as organizer of the Buzz Kammermusikfestival in Obertrum am See, Austria, which will reach its third edition in April 2026. Moreover, he is a faculty member for chamber music at the University of Music Freiburg.

Having been a laureate of the „Vladimir Horowitz” International Competition in Kyiv, the Piano Campus Competition in Paris, and the „Sigismund Thalberg” Competition in Naples, Andrei will release his debut album in the autumn of 2025, featuring works by Johannes Brahms. This album, a collaboration with Deutschlandfunk Kultur and C. Bechstein, will be published by the French record label Evidence Classics.
