Born in Avellino, graduated in Orchestra Conducting, Composition and Instrumentation for Band at the “Santa Cecilia” Conservatory of Music in Rome, he then perfected himself in the most important National and International Academies and Schools under the authoritative guidance of Maestros such as Carlo Maria Giulini and Bruno Aprea. He collaborated as Assistant to Maestro Antonio Pappano and Maestro Daniel Oren. He has obtained numerous prizes and awards including the first National Prize of the Arts 2010/2011 edition and the first absolute prize of the I National Competition for Orchestra Conducting by the M.I.U.R
He has conducted and is regularly invited to conduct at the most important theaters in the world such as the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, Deutsche Oper in Berlin, Arena di Verona, Staatsoper in Hamburg, Teatro di San Carlo, Teatro Regio in Parma, Teatro alla Fenice in Venice, Teatro Regio in Turin and Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and many others.
The 2023/24 season includes Otello at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich and Don Pasquale and L'elisir d'amore at the Wiener Staatsoper in Vienna. At the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville he will conduct Nabucco. He will also conduct Un ballo in maschera at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona, La fanciulla del West at the Teatro Regio in Turin, Anna Bolena at the Teatro Verdi in Trieste, and returns to the Teatro Regio in Parma for Il trovatore and to the Deutsche Oper in Berlin for Madama Butterfly.
Highlights for the 24/25 season include Aida at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, Trittico at the Teatro Verdi in Trieste, Don Pasquale in Hamburg, L’Elisir d’amore at the Wiener Staatsoper in Vienna and Otello in Bilbao.
