Aleksandra Borodulina was born in Riga, Latvia in 1987. She finished a special Emīls Dārziņš music school on class of piano taught by Lelda Paula. She later got a master’s degree in Jāzeps Vìtols Latvian Music academy from prof. Arnis Zandmanis and prof. Ventis Zilberts. During her studies she also studied in Stuttgart Academy of Music and the Performing Arts (Germany) taught by prof. Shoshana Rudiakov and prof. Asya Guttmann. She participated in many masterclasses of pianists such as Sulamita Aranowsky, Michail Voskresensky,Gottfried Hemetsberger, Ludmila Roschina, Alexander Gindin, Paul Badura-Skoda. In 2010 she won a competition for best interpretation of Chopin’s 1st Piano Concerto in E-minor in which she was soloing with Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Music Academy Orchestra. Aleksandra co-operated with many musicians, equally singers, conductors, directors and instrumentalists. Among them were such people as José Cura, Anda Louise-Bogza, Petr Mikuláš, Jitka Safarová-Fischerová, Christina Vasileva, Raul Gabriel-Iriarte, Martin Leginus, Tomáš Hanus, Marco Guidarini, Michael Güttler, Jan Zbavitel, Heiko Matthias Förster, Rostislav Hališka, Léoš Swarovsky, Stanislav Moša, Ernest Rambeaut, Christiann Schmitt, Harald Hörth.
At the moment Aleksandra is an accompanist in State Opera Prague.
